Discovering the Love Languages

The hosts discuss the five love languages: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch, and why they matter.

Episode Summary

In this episode Ava and Najee are talking love languages, the five love languages to be exact, which is a helpful tool to know yourself because news flash: not everyone gives and receives love in the same way.

The co-hosts go over each love language: words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch, acts of service and receiving gifts, share their top love languages, and discuss how they impact day to day life.

Najee would like you to do things for him, and tell him how great he is, and Ava would like an ample amount of your undivided attention and hugs. Can you guess their love languages? Neither one of them are very impressed with gifts alone, but gifts on top of the aforementioned gestures are gladly accepted.

They give examples of the importance of knowing your love language, sharing it with others, and then being a top tier human by making an effort to express love in someone else’s language of choice. While this may seem simple (or hard, depending on who you are), it is truly a game changer when it comes to strengthening the relationships in your life.
