Just like those braided friendship bracelets from the playground days, most friendships have the tendency to unravel eventually, and that’s okay! Nothing lasts forever. If your friendships feel more obligatory than enjoyable, more one-sided than balanced, it may be time to take a closer look and let the bad apples go.

While making new friends as an adult can feel hard, it’s a lot easier than clinging to expired friendships that ultimately cause you more harm than good. Having the keys to healthy friendship in mind makes the process easier.
